In 1979, Atlapac Trading Company started as a small family business founded in Los Angeles CA by our president, Tim Torrington Sr. The company began with a simple mission: to source the freshest, best-tasting food products for retail and food service clients. Under Tim Sr’s leadership, our company’s original focus on high-quality seafood soon expanded to include fruits, vegetables, condiments, and gourmet specialty foods.
Over the past 45 years, we’ve built and grown our ingredients division by partnering with internationally recognized food manufacturers and developing a robust network of trusted domestic and global suppliers. Today, Atlapac is a respected supplier and master distributor of shelf-stable foods, proudly and reliably serving a wide range of international, national and regional retail chains, food service providers, and manufacturers.
