Our mission is to serve the retail, food service, and the manufacturing industries place with the finest canned food products available from through out the world. Our goal is to be diversified enough to serve our customers' needs, yet small enough to know them.

About Us/History

Established in 1979, Atlapac Trading Co. has developed highly recognized specialty and commodity food products sourced both locally and globally. Our California Girl branded merchandise is acknowledged as one of the most complete and reliable product families within our niche industry sectors.

We deal in branded and private label specialty and commodity conserved foodstuffs (canned, jarred, bags, etc.) with over 300 branded SKU’s which include seafood, meats, fruit, vegetables, condiments, oils, olives and other gourmet products. We source our products from the USA and from dozens of FDA approved 1st quality food plants around the globe.

Our customers represent a broad spectrum of national and regional grocery chains, specialty retailers, food service distributors & cash ‘n’ carry’s and industrial food processors, both large and small.

Although we started as a one-man band by our founder and president, Tim Torrington Sr, we have grown in size and importance to the point we proudly service many national chains and food service distributors. Our ingredients division works with several internationally recognized food manufacturers.

We are equally proud to work with hundreds of small businesses and distributors. This diversity enables us to survive and moreover, thrive, in all types of economic environments. Our size allows us to be large enough to know what is going on in the international food economy but also nimble enough to react quickly to information and trends and guide our customers accordingly.
